The steps I take to repair a broken nail.
Step 1 - Use glue to put the nail back together as best you can, don't worry if it doesn't look perfect.
Step 2 - Place the nail silk on top of the nail, this product is designed to help strengthen the nail and keep the nail together if broken. A tea bag or a tissue can be substituted, but the silk seems to work best.
Step 3 - Add a layer of glue to the nail and let dry. If the nail is thin or weak add a second layer of glue to the nail. Use a nail stick or paper clip to distribute the glue evenly, if required.
Step 4 - Once the glue has completely dried, take a nail file and shave off any lingering nail silk and a small layer of glue on top of the nail.
